Hidden Moments: The Photography of Jack Rubel

Visit the Orcas Senior Center Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to experience the striking photography of Jack Rubel. The exhibit will be on display throughout May and June.

Jack has been photographing the world around him for over 60 years, having started
while still in high school using Kodak’s first changeable-lens camera. In 2002 he
decided to take his photography more seriously and began reading photo books and taking in-field workshops with professional photographers both in the US and abroad.  With study and practice, his photographs have slowly evolved into thoughtfully composed images that capture nature’s hidden details and fleeting moments.  Images in this collection range from nature/wildlife to culture and travel.
