Born and raised in Eastern Washington, Lena brings over 12 years of nonprofit experience and moved to Orcas Island in 2016 with her husband and their cat. She’s passionate about supporting community through her work at Orcas Senior Center, helping ensure that seniors and adults with disabilities can age well and stay connected. Originally from Hawaii, Edy has called Orcas Island home for over 20 years. She raised three daughters here—each a graduate from Orcas Island High School and Western Washington University. Edy is passionate about creating engaging and meaningful programs for the Orcas Senior Center, bringing fun, connection, and engagement to the community. Travis, a stage actor with a degree in theatre, moved from Spokane to Orcas Island in 2016 and has been active in the local theatre scene ever since. Also a visual artist and experienced in professional maintenance, he enjoys sailing his boat “King’s Ransom” and brings a hands-on approach to island living. Suzette moved to Eastsound with her husband in 2020 and brings a background in nonprofit work as a licensed psychotherapist specializing in attachment, trauma recovery, and parenting. Originally from Texas and raised in an Air Force family, she’s excited to help strengthen services for all islanders while enjoying life on Orcas—especially cooking, gardening, and fishing for kokanee. Originally from Pennsylvania, Darcey Miller moved to West Seattle in 1999 and has been involved with the Orcas Island community since 2017. A longtime volunteer with Orcas Senior Center, she now serves as board secretary and is especially passionate about event planning, fundraising, and community connection.

Jordan and his wife Kim, along with their five children, relocated from Texas to Orcas in June 2025. A UT Austin graduate with an MBA, Jordan built a 25-year career in wholesale wine and spirits, eventually owning and selling a distribution company. His finance and administration experience spans law, farming, tech, and medical staffing. Past nonprofit roles include Treasurer of a Dallas preschool and Business Manager at Orcas Center.

After retiring from a 30-year career as a first responder with the Daly City Fire Department, George and his wife, Karen, made Orcas Island their home in 2000, drawn by its quiet beauty and relaxed pace of life. An active volunteer ever since, George is passionate about ensuring Orcas Senior Center remains a safe, welcoming space filled with preparedness, connection, and fun.

Steve honed his island life on Vashon Island for 13 years, where his career as a patent lawyer brought him to work with nonprofits including Northwest Harvest and Vashon Community Care. Caring for his mother post-stroke deepened his understanding of elder needs. He now brings his legal expertise, nonprofit experience, and personal insight to his role as an OSC Board member on Orcas Island.
