Meals on Wheels and Senior Lunch

Senior Lunch at Orcas Senior Center has resumed; however, through August, it will occur only on Mondays.

The Orcas Senior Center nonprofit, Whatcom Council on Aging, and San Juan County Senior Services collaboratively work together to facilitate and support the “Meals on Wheels and More” program at Orcas Senior Center.

Cooking staff, Mike Knight, prepares healthy community and/or home-delivered meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Orcas Senior Center.

Senior Lunch

In-person lunches are served from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Mondays in the Lundeen Room at Orcas Senior Center.

Diners enjoy delicious meals and engaging conversation amongst live music by Ron Myers and art exhibits by the Orcas Senior Center Visual Arts Committee.

No Reservation is Needed!

Cost for guests aged 60 and older is a suggested donation of $5.00 per meal. (Spouses/partners, disabled dependents, and unpaid caregivers of guests aged 60 and older also have a suggested donation of $5.00 per meal.)
Cost for guests under the age of 60 is $7.50 per meal.


Home-Delivered Meals

Home-Delivered Meals are delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to those in need.
