Guided Walk: Crescent Beach Preserve
Join Orcas Senior Center and the San Juan County Conservation Land Bank for a guided walk through Crescent Beach Preserve on Thursday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m.
Orcas Island Preserve Steward Peter Guillozet will lead participants along the woodland trail. The mostly level walk offers an opportunity to explore the preserve’s unique natural and ecological features while learning more about this important conservation area. Crescent Beach Preserve has been a top priority for the Land Bank since the beginning of the program, thanks to its outstanding scenic values, ecological resources, and potential for public access.
Participants will meet at the parking area on the Crescent Beach side of the preserve. Dress for the weather, bring water, and carpool, if possible, as parking is limited.
