A Conversation About Alzheimer’s Disease
Join us at the Orcas Senior Center on Wednesday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m. for a thought-provoking conversation with Dr. Robert Rubey, a retired psychiatrist with decades of experience in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and dementia care. Dr. Rubey has taught at the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Colorado and has extensive experience presenting on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
During this 30-minute presentation, Dr. Rubey will discuss the history of Alzheimer’s disease, the evolution of research into its possible causes, and recent developments in the field. He will share insights from his years of clinical practice and review emerging scientific perspectives for educational purposes. A question-and-answer session will follow.
