Julia Summers Photography Art Show

Stop by the Orcas Senior Center Monday through Friday from 9am until 3pm to see the beautiful photography’s by Julia Summers. The show will be up for the Months of January and February and join us January 3, at 1pm for a presentation by Julia about her art and the story behind her pictures. Julia started her career as a photographer at the age of eight. Because she had to wear an eye patch and had limited vision she was bullied in school. An art teacher recognized her dilemma and gave her a camera to “show the world how you see it”. That was the beginning of her life as a photographer. Julia has worked for National Geographic, Wildlife Federation, the United Nations and more.
