Fundraisers

We welcome your suggestions, ideas, and gifts of time & energy toward raising approximately $40,000 a year to keep the Senior Center doors open, lights & heat on, the building clean and make normal repairs.

We also need to plan for major capital projects, i.e., painting and replacing the flooring in the Lundeen Room.

We raise money by holding two major fundraisers each year - Granny's Attic Sale in the spring (4th Saturday in April) and The Holiday Festival of the Arts in the fall (Saturday after Thanksgiving).  We also hold special events and an end-of-the-year appeal letter is mailed island-wide in October.
