Volunteer opportunities

You tell us what you might enjoy doing and how many hours you want to give, and we'll find a slot that meets your interests.  Currently, we are looking for:

• Drivers willing to take seniors to lunch, shopping, and medical appointments (See Transportation) and to take Home-Delivered Meals to shut-ins. 

• Front-desk people answer the phones, greet visitors, and make appointments for the various classes and services we offer.

• Kitchen helpers on lunch days (Tuesdays and Fridays).

• Weeders and pruners to maintain the landscaping around the building and the parking area.

To volunteer for any of these tasks (or something else not on our list) and to get more information, contact Linda at 376-2677.

The Visual Arts Committee welcomes  curators for individual shows,  a Reception Planner, and one or two  chairs or co-chairs to manage receptions for our fine arts exhibits.  Contact Lois Baney, 5277 or Sue Lamb at 3118 if you are interested in serving on the committee or having a show.
